Harvesting FAQs
-
Why should I dry trim?
Dry trimming offers many benefits over wet trimming. Unlike wet trimming, dry trimming limits the spread of mold and microbial growth. Testing labs and other experts report that an 8% moisture level, or lower, protects your flowers against mold growth.
Moreover, terpenes and trichomes are better preserved in a properly dried product, protecting the premium fragrance and potency of the flower. The GreenBroz Dry Trimmer uses a patented blade design which will safeguard trichomes and the flowers’ natural curves and contours. -
Flower preparation?
Hang dry until a 7 to 8% internal moisture level is achieved. When the outer leaf is crispy and the stems are snapping, you are ready to remove the buds from the stems. Cut the flowers close to the stem and load directly into the machine.
